Save our railway ticket offices

Rail firms have announced plans for the mass closure of England’s ticket offices. Train operators have proposed to shut down almost all of the 1,007 remaining offices, bar at the busiest stations, within three years.

Rail ticket offices, such as our local ticket office at Bath Spa, are a lifeline for so many passengers, particularly those who are elderly or disabled and those who are visitors.

Wera is calling on these plans to be stopped and for our ticket offices to be saved.
