Wera Hobhouse, MP for Bath, told Parliament in a debate on NHS dentistry that dental care is in a disgraceful state. Just 3 in 10 people in Bath have seen a dentist, down from 50% in 2018, in the past 2 years. Only 6 in 10 children in Bath have been able to see a dentist in the past 12 months despite the NHS recommending all under-18s see the dentist once per year. This 6 in 10 number is down 20% on 2018 levels.
