This Black History Month, Wera is championing black voices in Bath and providing a platform for some of the individuals within the city's black communities.
Last week she spoke with Renée Jacobs, a local project manager who set up the website "B in Bath", a networking, support and social group for professionals from underrepresented backgrounds in Bath and the surrounding area.
It was a fascinating discussion about what Black History Month means and what more we can do to tackle the big questions about race and identity in our community.
