Wera Encouraged by Changes at Bath Post Office

20 February 2020

Following up on her first visit late last year, Wera had a very encouraging meeting at Bath’s main Post Office which moved to WH Smith on Union Street a few months ago.

It’s clear that the team has been listening to service users and adapting to meet their requirements whenever possible.

For example, the aisle into the shop that leads to the lift has been widened for buggy and wheelchair users. Seating has been added. Three new members of staff will be starting within the next three weeks. More people are using the self-service kiosks for simple transactions.

The Post Office is open 8:30 am - 6 pm Monday through Saturday, and from 11 am - 3 pm on Sundays. You can access your high street bank account at the Post Office counter.

“My thanks to Graham Brown, Kevin Shingles, Stuart Taylor and Lynne Scofield for taking time to meet me and for their commitment to continuing to improve services for Bath Post Office users.”
