This Black History Month, Wera Hobhouse is championing black voices in Bath and providing a platform for some of the individuals within the city's black communities.
This week she spoke with India Miles, a young change maker and student who grew up in Bath.
Wera said: "I loved speaking with India, who highlighted both the issues we still need to confront as a community and the progress which has been made. History is fluid and our understanding of it changes all the time. Expanding that understanding can never be a bad thing and that why I think Black History Month is such an important time. I hope we can continue to hold these conversations, and think about these issues, this month and every other."
