Is Bath Ready for Tourists? A Community Conversation


With the tourism sector restarting on 4th July, MP Wera Hobhouse will host a community conversation asking if the city is ready.

Bath thrives on its tourism sector, and visitors are desperately needed to restart our economy, but what will the offering be? With many destinations remaining closed and others struggling with social distancing requirements, what will visitors be able to see and do? How will our narrow streets cope with visitors as we all try and maintain social distancing. Similarly, how will accommodation owners be providing safe spaces for our guests to stay?

Answering these questions and more will be Kathryn Davis, acting CEO of Visit Bath, Councillor Paul Crossley, Alison Curran, Chair of the Bath Area Self Catering Association, Chris Stephens, Director of the Holburne Museum and Andrew Peters, owner of the Green Park Brasserie.
