Bath MP Wera Hobhouse says £1 billion Conservative-DUP deal 'very shoddy'

Wera criticised May's desperate deal with the DUP, her only chance of forming a government. 

“It’s very shoddy,” Mrs Hobhouse said of the arrangement.

“The people of Britain are suffering continued austerity, whilst the Tories throw taxpayers’ money at the DUP to buy their votes.

“This is money that could have funded an extra teacher in every school in Britain.

“Or maybe there really is a Magic Money Tree and the Tories will shake it again and find a similar amount for Bath and the South West, and the other regions of the UK.”
